在头马中区比赛休息期间，Sunny翻开周国平的《各自朝圣的路》，坐在身旁的男士探过头来皱着眉头对Sunny说：“Sunny啊，作为一个女人，你不应该读哲学书，你应该多看烹饪书。”于是Sunny奋笔疾书写下了这篇《厨房革命》。

Several days ago, when I was reading a philosophy book，a man came over and told me:“as a female, you should read a cookbook instead of philosophy book.” It seems that men always take it for granted that women should cook. This makes me wonder:“what is the relation between women and cooking? ”
There is a saying, if a man has an affair, he will be more and more busy at work; if a woman has an affair, the dish she cooks will be more and more salty. Though this saying is a joke, it implies cooking is a woman's responsibility.
People always say that kitchen is the right place where a marriage leads a woman to. Cooking is a woman's destiny. It is not just men who take it for granted that women should cook, but women also accept this as natural.
During the spring festival, my mother prepares a lot of dishes. One time she asked me to come over and told me you should learn how to make these dishes. I asked:“why should I? I don't want to.” My mother answered:“ if one day you get married, your husband will be hungry, what dish can you make for him?”
I found this reasoning funny, and I asked her:“Is there any connection between a man's stomach and me? My mother said:“the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.” This explanation is ridiculous, and I will tell you the reasons why:
First, “If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach -- is he a pig? If he is just looking for someone who can satisfy his stomach, then he only needs a maid, not a soulmate.
Second, if this saying is correct, then all men will all love chefs. But you see,different men chose different women.
Above all, why should you degrade yourself to satisfy a man? There are many more males than females in China. Men should ask themselves “what is the way to a woman's heart”. If they do not. They will have to be alone for the coming “double 11 -- single man's day.”
With the advancement of society, the world is changing. We should not take cooking as a women's responsibility, we should have a kitchen revolution. Men should help women cook.
Someone argues that :“there is a saying in China which goes the two most dangerous in the world are to let a woman drive and to let a man cook. If a woman drives, she will crash the car. If a man cooks, he will burn down the house. This means men can't cook, so women must take up the chores.” A man can't cook? Well, then let us take a look at those top chefs in the world, most of them are male. What does it mean? It means that men have a gift in cooking, the reason why he can't cook? Well it is just because he is lazy.
Some will argue that it is traditional for women to cook. What is tradition?Tradition is just like a record which is used to break.Why can't we break this tradition?
Some argue that cooking will make a man more feminine and less charming.
Ladies, imagine that after you get off work, and you return home exhausted, and the moment you open the door, you see a table full of food and a man waiting for you in an apron, how romantic will that moment be? Won't you think this man is sexy and charming?
A Kitchen revolution will not only benefit women, but also men. As a whole, it will promote men and female's happiness.
First of all, when you are chasing a girl, and have a powerful competitor, if you can cook, it can be your weapon to beat your competitor and win a girl's heart;
Second, if men help women cook, it will decrease a woman's burden, and a woman will appreciate what a man does for her. Henceforth a man will have a gentle, elegant cat-like wife rather than an exhausted, hysterical tigress-like partner.
Most of all, if a man cooks, he will know how it feels like to wait for someone to share a dinner made by him; what is more, if a man cooks, he has to spend less time on social activities and focus more on family, it will contribute to a family's stability.
Gentlemen, it is time for you to roll up your sleeves and cook for your beloved one, don't take it for granted that cooking is your wife's responsibility.
中文稿 厨房革命
几天前，当我在看一本哲学书的时候，我的一位男性朋友走过来跟我说:“不要看哲学书了，作为一个女人，你应该看烹饪书。”我当时觉得不可思议，他居然这样跟我说，回头想想似乎男人都认为女人做饭是理所当然的事情。这让我思考:“女人跟做饭有什么必然联系？”
有这么一个说法：当男人出轨的时候，他会越来越忙；当一个女人出轨的时候，她做的饭会越来越咸。虽然这句话是玩笑，但是它暗含着一个概念：做饭是女人的责任。
都说对于一个女人来说，厨房就是婚礼通向的正前方，做饭就是女人的命运。不仅男人这样认为，甚至很多女人也欣然接受。
春节的时候，我妈妈在做菜，她叫我过去并对我说：“妮子呀，别闲在一边，你应该学学怎么做菜。”我回答道：“为什么我应该学?我不想学。”然后我妈妈答道：“如果有一天你结婚了，你老公肚子饿了，你现在不学学，以后怎么做饭给他吃呢？”我发现这段对话很有意思，我反问我妈一句：“他的胃跟我有什么因果关系？为什么他饿了，我就要给他做饭？”我妈回答：“要想抓住男人的心就要抓住男人的胃。”
“要想抓住男人的心就要抓住男人的胃”这句话其实非常荒谬，原因有三：
第一，“抓住男人的心就要抓住男人的胃”？在我看来这个男人只需要一个满足他胃口而不是心灵的人，那么他要找的是一个仆人，而不是恋人；第二，如果以上这句话是真理，那么每个男人都只会喜欢厨师，但是你看，大千世界，萝卜青菜各有所爱，不同的男人选择了不同的女人；最重要的一点是：女人啊，你为什么要降低自己去向一个男人谄媚？现在男女比例不平衡，应该是一个男人绞尽脑汁去抓住女人的心才对。
随着社会的发展，世界在改变，我们也应该改变陈旧的思想观念，不要认为做饭就是女人的责任，我们应该进行厨房革命，呼吁男人进厨房帮女人做饭。
有人说世界上有两种事情是最危险的:男人做饭和女人开车，男人做饭会把房子给烧了，女人开车会把车给撞了。这说明男人不能做饭，所以女人必须要承担这项家务事。男人不能做饭？好吧，让我们看那些世界顶级名厨吧，那些厨师大多是男人，女人却寥寥无几。这说明男人不仅可以做饭，而且比女人有更高的天分。那些说不会做饭的男人仅仅是因为他们懒。
有人说女人做饭天经地义，这就是一个传统。但是什么是传统？传统就像纪录一样，是用来被打破的。为什么我们不能打破这个传统？
还有人说做饭会让一个男人显得娘娘腔，会让男人失去魅力。女士们，你们想想当你结束了一天的工作拖着疲惫的身体回到家里时，当你推开家门那一刻，在你眼前的是一桌准备好的菜和一个穿着围裙等待着你的男人。你不觉得这是一件很浪漫感动的事情吗？你不觉得你眼前的这个男人更加性感和有魅力吗？
厨房革命不仅有利于女人，而且有利于男人，整体上来讲，它会提升男女的幸福指数。
首先，当一个男孩在追女孩的时候，他有一个强大的对手，如果他会做饭，那么他的厨艺将会成为他打败对手和虏获女孩芳心的秘密武器；第二，男人做饭，可以帮助女人减轻她的负担，如此一来，女人也会感激男人为她做的事情。这样的话，男人会有一个柔情似水的猫性女人，而不是一个歇斯底里的母老虎；最重要的一点是，如果男人做饭的话，他会体验到当等待一个人共享他做的饭那是怎样的心情；而且如果一个男人做饭，他必须减少在外的交际时间，更加注重家庭生活，这样有利于家庭的稳定。
我们应该进行厨房革命，让男人也走进厨房。男士们，现在请你们卷起手袖为你所爱的人做饭，不要把做饭当成女人的责任。这样不仅会增加你的魅力，而且有利于你的终身幸福。
演讲后续
这次演讲之后，我以厨房革命为题作了即兴演讲题目，向听众提问为什么做饭的多是女人，通过她们的答案，我了解到，其实很多“80后”女人在婚后并不会做饭，但是有了小孩之后就做饭了，因为担心外面的食物不安全。有时候可能改变女人的并不是男人，而是她的孩子。
